The warming spice aroma balanced perfectly with subtle biscuit notes is

Flavour
The addition of Cara and Crystal malts lend a biscuit flavour that combines
perfectly with a subtle sweetness from cinnamon and nutmeg leading to a
warm spicy finish and a creamy mouthfeel.

BREWER'S NOTE

It’s that time of the year again when nights are getting longer and
days are getting colder, but at least we have Winter Star Spiced Pale
Ale to keep you warm. With additions of rye malt, nutmeg, cinnamon
and special yeast, this year’s Winter Star has a spicy, warm and
balanced finish.
Winter ales are usually very dark with strong roast flavours, but
this year we decided to do something different. We wanted to get a warm
full flavour and still keep the body light and crisp. We used a
combination of malts with a generous addition of oats to achieve this
flavour. The cinnamon and nutmeg add a light spicy texture aiding to
the balance and overall flavour of this year’s brew.
