Brewery Expansion gathering pace

It is all go at the Brewery here in Bagenalstown at the minute as another phase of our expansion programme gathers momentum. Last year we announced our plans to increase the capacity of the brewery and it is great to see a part of those plans taking shape recently here in Carlow.

The last few weeks alone has seen the addition of 4 new fermentation vessels which have been installed outside the brewery walls in our courtyard. These giant new tanks combined will add on approximately 100,000 litres to our final output which is a massive boost for us and of course our customers.

When you add in all the new piping, chillers and boiler rooms that are needed to run these vessels it is a major project for us to have completed by late autumn and one we are thrilled to see finally happening in the brewery.

With the growth of craft beer not slowing down in Ireland and abroad we know that these types of additions to the Brewery will leave us in great shape to not only keep up with increased demand of our existing brews but will hopefully allow us the space and freedom to experiment furthermore and bring more seasonal and limited edition beers to market.
