Festival Beers 2014

Introducing six new craft beers for the Irish Craft Beer & Cider Festival 2014.

O’Hara’s first venture into a dark wheat beer style. The amazing yeasty aromas and flavours coupled with a rich wheat body, make it a must try for all beer enthusiasts. The lovely dark, hazy tones give life to a sweet, full and complex banana taste.

No hops were spared in the creation of this Hop Heavyweight. Made with no less than 4 varieties with an extended dry hopping period, its zesty aromas are coupled with a full body and bursting bitterness. It is one to challenge the senses.

Matured in oak barrels for 12 months to allow nature do its thing! The wild yeast naturally residing in the oak has gradually modified the base barley wine, introducing lactic undertones and complex aromatics. Our first, but not the last, venture in to the sour beer space.

A treat for the senses as two styles meet. The best of Irish Porter has been combined with the finest aroma hops in a marriage made in beer heaven.

A seasonal twist on our Helles style lager. This Lager has been combined with some of the finest freshly picked local Carlow blackberries to create a refreshing fruit beer.

Making an eagerly anticipated return after its debut at last year’s festival, this full bodied wheat beer with mango and honey undertones is a treat for any lover of cask beer.
