Savour Kilkenny is upon us again this coming weekend (October 28th – 31st) and we can’t wait to play a small part in what will be Kilkenny’s biggest festival yet as thousands of people take to the medieval streets to celebrate a decade of this ever popular food festival.
We are delighted to be involved again as a festival partner by bringing the Craft Brewers and Dsitillers Pavillion to the Castle Parade and have called on some of the best local craft brewers, distillers and cider makers to join us there.
These include:-
Brewers: Metalman, Costello’s, Sullivan’s, 12 Acres, and O’Hara’s
Spirits: St. Patrick’s, Michil and Glendalough
Ciders: Scott’s Cider and Falling Apple
We will have 6 Taps pouring over the weekend including our IPA , Red Nitro and latest release FestHalten among others. You will also be able to get that perfect christmas present nice and early with the unveiling of our new 3 bottle Winter Gift Packs.
The Craft Brewers & Distillers Pavilion will have a real feel good atmosphere, so as well as meeting and chatting with brewers/distillers you will also hear DJ Cleaveland Mike spinning some funky tunes throughout the weekend.
Commenting Seamus O’Hara, our founder had this to say, “We are really looking forward to hosting the Craft Brewers & Distillers Pavilion at Savour Kilkenny 2016. It’s a pleasure for us to be involved with the festival, which is such an important event for our city. We have such a high standard of craft brewers and producers here in Ireland, and in particular in the South East, and this should be celebrated – we have no doubt the Craft Brewers & Distillers Pavilion will be packed throughout Savour Kilkenny, and we can’t wait to introduce visitors and locals alike to some of the fantastic people behind these top products.”
The Kilkenny Whiskey Guild will also be launching at Savour Kilkenny and customers can be among the first to sample the variety of whiskeys on this very special tasting. Visitors are encouraged to come along to the whiskey counter at the Craft Brewers & Distillers Pavilion where they can meet top whiskey experts and get to taste some of the wonderful Irish whiskeys they have on offer.
